About the Role The Amarillo Composites Plant is seeking a Power and Controls Specialist. The Power & Control Specialist (PCS) is an hourly position responsible for maintaining all instrumentation, electrical and electronic devices, and systems in the Amarillo Plant, including computer-based control systems and medium voltage power distribution systems. This is a diverse role combining skills and abilities for electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, reassemble, maintain, and calibrate electrical equipment and systems Maintain equipment such as motors, motor controls, power distribution, lighting, and PLC systems Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation Perform work from SAP-generated work orders Participate in Root Cause Analysis and TPM activities Maintain 5S standards and support area/pillar activities Maintain a safe and clean working environment Participate in safety and plant training Complete accurate records and reports in SAP plant maintenance system Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 4 years electrical/electronic/instrumentation experience in industrial/manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be authorized to work in the U.S Must be drug free Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights) Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to climb ladders and stairs Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical or Electronic Systems Technology preferred Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to use a multimeter Ability to troubleshoot 24V DC and 120V AC controls Ability to work with 120V and 480V power Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance HSA with company contribution Health & Dependent Care FSAs 401(k): 100% match up to 6% + 2% company contribution Company-paid life and disability coverage Voluntary benefits (accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, identity protection, supplemental life) Paid time off & holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Wellness incentives Equal Opportunity Employer OCF is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
