Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a full spectrum of surgical procedures and specialties
• Support general elective surgeries as well as critical and life-saving surgical interventions
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes throughout the operative experience
• Adhere to facility attendance and scheduling policies, including assigned call shifts as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with health system-wide profile and credentialing standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
• Active Michigan RN license required (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB surgical specialties preferred
• Familiarity with high-volume regional hospital surgical environments preferred
