Senior Associate / Attorney - Personal Injury

A confidential California-based litigation firm is seeking a mid to senior level Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle catastrophic and severe injury matters across both plaintiff-side and defense-side representations. This is a trial-forward practice where experienced litigators can take meaningful ownership of high-exposure cases, build courtroom experience, and work closely with seasoned trial counsel. WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT Catastrophic injury practice, with matters involving severe injuries and wrongful death Mix of plaintiff and defense work (approximately 50/50), offering broader perspective and skill development Substantial responsibility across the case lifecycle, including motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation On-site role with flexibility to manage family or personal commitments, subject to meeting billable expectations THE ROLE Manage catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases from inception through resolution Draft and respond to pleadings, written discovery, and substantive correspondence Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts Prepare dispositive motions and related briefing, and argue motions as needed Support mediation strategy, settlement evaluation, and negotiation Prepare for hearings and trial, including witness preparation and trial materials Work on matters arising from auto-related incidents (car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle) and aviation accidents LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION Location: California (Los Angeles area) Schedule: On site, with flexibility for family or personal commitments Compensation: Base salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 REQUIREMENTS Active California Bar license in good standing 5 to 15 years of litigation experience, with a meaningful focus on catastrophic personal injury matters Experience handling cases involving severe injuries and wrongful death; exposure to auto-related incidents (car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle) and aviation accidents is valuable Strong courtroom presence and practical litigation skills, including depositions, discovery management, and motion practice Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Ability to meet a 1,980 annual billable hours expectation Demonstrated commitment and continuity in prior roles, reflecting a steady professional trajectory PREFERRED BACKGROUND Experience working on both plaintiff-side and defense-side catastrophic injury matters Track record of results on high-value cases, including meaningful hearing or trial experience COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Billable hours target: 1,980 annually #J-18808-Ljbffr We Are Legal Revolution
