Part‑time Retail Associate – 744 Las Vegas Start Rate $15.00 per hour. Store Location: 3750 E Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89121, United States. Job Overview Smart & Final is seeking a Part‑time Retail Associate to join our store operations team to assist customers, maintain store sections, and perform basic bookkeeping duties. Responsibilities Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment). Assure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes, and maintain rotation. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed. Set up advertising/promotional displays. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed. Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, providing current store and product information. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies. Qualifications Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Preferred Additional Skills Basic PC/Outlook skills.
