Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Roles & Responsibilities
- Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
- Read and implement instructions from Physical Therapist
- Collaborate directly with Physical Therapist to modify patient care
- Communicate with families to recommend at-home techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physical therapy area
- Assist patients with transfers from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy area
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Teach patients techniques including balance training
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience
- Experience in Long Term Care or Rehabilitation settings
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Missouri state license or ability to obtain
- Willingness to work at the posted rate

- Patient care and therapeutic exercise techniques
- Stretching and exercise therapy
- Assisting with physical therapy treatments
- Patient education and family communication
- Administrative and organizational skills
