Controls Engineer

Seeking a Controls Engineer with PLC programming, design and troubleshooting experience. This is a permanent position in the Rockford, MI area. Overview: Also have permanent positions available in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. All these permanent positions offer a variety of exciting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable and growing companies. Opportunities range from entry-level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Most jobs require minimal travel. Responsibilities Provide electrical solutions for automation equipment. Design and program PLC and HMI software to meet requirements. Program and troubleshoot automation machines. Assist with start-up and technical support. Project Engineer comprehensive electrical systems from start to finish. Commission new machinery and retrofit existing machinery. Requirements Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate\'s degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience. 2 plus years of programming PLCs and HMIs. Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred. Experience with programming and integrating servos, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus. AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus. Able to work independently as well as within a team. Close attention to detail and accuracy. Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
