Registered Nurse (RN): Med/Surg

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med/Surg department. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations. This role includes working in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Unit Profile

• Number of Beds: 22 beds in each unit
• Patient Ratios: 6:1 up to 7:1
• Equipment: Telemetry
• EHR: MEDITECH

Position Details

• Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, NIH
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Med/Surg setting
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to other departments such as Telemetry and Emergency Department as needed
• Required Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing

Skills and Attributes

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Proficiency with MEDITECH software
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in Med/Surg nursing
• Common Diagnosis/Treatments: Surgical care, placement procedures, psychotherapy
• Personality Fit: Candidates should be family-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment

Scrubs can be of any color. No unacceptable attire is specified.
