Locums - Psych NP

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to provide high-quality mental health care to a diverse patient population. This role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing medications to support patients' overall well-being.

Job Function:

• Participates as a member of committees, including peer review, as requested by the CMO
• Chart completion is consistent with CFH P/P
• Reaches out and engages clients with appropriate concern for their behavioral health care needs
• Coordinates medical care with PCP for chronic and acute non-behavioral health conditions
• Advises and counsels clients about their physical and mental health; coordinates care with case management and health education as clinically indicated
• Provides consultation and training to staff and volunteers where appropriate.
• Assists with the identification, counseling, and care coordination, with case management and health education, of mental health and substance abuse problems.
• Will conduct intakes, and medication management.
• The ideal candidate would have experience in trauma and substance abuse conditions.

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience. Active NY License.
