Management & Program Analyst

Project Management DutiesCoordinates geographically distributed projects from the inception of the project selection process to project close out, to ensure their success. Develops, maintains, and reports project plans in support of project priorities and requirements determined by VHA leadership and assigned by supervisor. Provides guidance to Senior Management, other Project Managers, and project team(s) in directing development of project schedules for new/existing/future applications. Tracks projects status, facilitating the resolution of issues with internal and external entities, regularly communicating with many stakeholders, customer relationship management, acting as the contracting officer's representative, applying project management principles and practices, responding to data calls, participating in calls, attending kick-offs and other related meetings, contracting and budget analysis, drafting and facilitating the approval of project management documentation, contracting documentation, budgets, minutes, tracking information, press information, and other communications items. Solicits participation of business owners in defining and validating innovation requirements and ensure the customer, business owners, and stakeholders are kept abreast and involved through the planning process. Develops, maintains, and reports project plans in support of project priorities and requirements determined by VHA leadership and assigned by supervisor. Reviews and monitors staffing requirements and schedules for the project team. Serves as a Project Manager, coordinating and planning activities within an assigned project. Position is aligned to assist the project team, and others to develop and maintain project plans and schedules. Facilitates meetings to execute the project's processes; coordinates and monitors project status; performs analysis of activity and project status and utilizes the results as the basis for project status reporting.Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Full TimeTelework: This position may be authorized for telework.
