Radiologic Technologist

Role Radiologic Technologist responsible for acquiring high-quality diagnostic radiographic images to support patient care in the Radiology department. Responsibilities Produce accurate radiographs for various exams, ensure radiation safety and infection control, prepare equipment and supplies, interview and instruct patients, administer contrast material, document procedures, perform quality assurance, maintain equipment, and collaborate with healthcare providers. Participate in departmental performance improvement, prioritize exams, and serve as a resource and role model for staff and students. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program or equivalent education recognized by ARRT. Certification in Radiography (R) within 3 months, and MRT certification within 6 months. Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification or obtain during orientation. Strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and technical skills. Knowledge of radiologic equipment and patient-centered behaviors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
