Structural Engineer

Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Bridges and Civil Structures Team. This is an entry‑level position in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures. Support senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists, quantity take‑offs, and redlines for bridges and civil structures. Complete technical training courses assigned for career development. Participate in the Quality Control process for design and plan development. Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering required. Master’s of Science in Structural Engineering is preferred. Experience No experience required. 0–2 years of related civil engineering experience is preferred. Special Skills Ability to perform fundamental checks from AASHTO LRFD related to moment, shear, deflection, and stress. 3D analysis preferred. Experience with FDOT MathCAD templates preferred. Professional Registrations E.I. or E.I.T. required. Compensation Expected compensation range is between $75,000 - $85,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
