Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid OH Intervention Specialist License
• Prior experience teaching high school students in special education settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Dedication to fostering inclusion and supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEPs in a high school classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor effective lesson plans and instructional materials
• Assess student progress regularly and modify instructional approaches as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school support staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Maintain organized and accurate records for documentation and compliance
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom climate where all students feel valued and supported

This contract role begins August 4th, 2026, and continues through June 22nd, 2026, with the possibility of renewal. The position includes a full-time weekly schedule (40 hours, Monday through Friday).
