CDL A Truck Driver

Monday Through Friday Regional | Home Every Weekend

Regional lane coverage and dependable route planning give this CDL A truck driver position a consistent structure throughout the workweek. Drivers operate established Northeast and Midwest freight corridors with primarily no-touch dry van loads, planned dispatch assignments, and a schedule that provides a full 48-hour reset at home every weekend.

How the Operation Runs

The fleet moves freight throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, and surrounding states. Drivers work within repeat regional corridors rather than relying on constantly changing operating areas. This provides greater familiarity with common routes, customer locations, and freight patterns.

Most loads are no-touch dry van, with frequent drop-and-hook freight available throughout the network. Dispatch coordinates upcoming assignments in advance whenever possible to provide better visibility into the next trip and support smoother transitions between loads.

Schedule and Weekly Earnings

Drivers operate Monday through Friday and return home for a full 48-hour reset every weekend. Weekly earnings range from $1,350 to $1,550 based on miles and performance. A $1,200 minimum weekly pay program is available for qualifying drivers, and payroll is processed every Friday.

Position Snapshot

• Mostly no-touch dry van and drop-and-hook freight

• $500 paid during approximately 2.5 days of orientation

• 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors

Equipment and Driver Comfort

Trucks feature automatic transmissions along with APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, SiriusXM capability, and TV setup options. Equipment follows a regular preventive maintenance schedule throughout the fleet.

Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available along with paid vacation, holiday pay, safety incentives, E-Z Pass, and I-Pass coverage. Hotel accommodations and meals are provided during orientation. Drivers also receive information about their regional lanes, dispatch procedures, and position expectations before beginning their first assignment.

CDL A Driver Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Class A CDL. Drivers must have 3 months of OTR experience within the last year, 6 months of OTR or local driving experience within the last year, or 1 year of OTR experience within the past 3 years.
