Radiology - MRI Tech Profession: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Must-Have: Experience with adult and older pediatric patientsExperience in outpatient and inpatient settingsIV start skillsStrong communication skillsSelf-starter with multitasking abilitiesAbility to produce high-quality imagesComfortable working independently Description:An immediate start is needed for the MRI Tech position.Manager interviews will be conducted.This facility has one MRI room and 64 beds, with no trauma designation.The average number of patients seen in a day is between 12 to 16.Patients will include adults and older pediatric patients, typically 10 years of age and older.The focus will be on outpatient, inpatient, ED, ICU, and MedSurg cases, such as neuro (strokes), soft tissue injuries, and oncology.The role involves performing MRI scans while trying to limit patients to no more than two studies at a time.No vented, monitored, cardiac, sedation, or pacemaker patients will be accepted.The position requires the ability to work independently, with close support available.Lead Techs in other modalities will provide support.The Radiologist is on-site two days a week, and there are 24/7 hospitalist and ER doctor services.No transport personnel are available in the department; inpatient staff will assist with patient transport.The equipment used includes a 1.5 Tesla MRI system.A weekend rotation and on-call duty are not required.The hospital is closed on major holidays.Scrub color should be any solid professional color without graphics, logos, or designs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
