Overview
This travel opportunity is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Dundee, Kansas. Role: RN, L&D. Start date 09/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,507-$2,573 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts, three nights per week. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This position requires an active RN license, relevant certifications, and obstetric experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including monitoring labor progression, assisting with births, and providing postpartum care
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform fetal heart rate monitoring, interpret findings, and escalate concerns to the obstetric team
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, support patient education, and assist with procedures common to the L&D unit
- Collaborate with obstetric, neonatal, and support staff; float to medical-surgical units as needed and provide care to pediatric patients in the MS setting when floated
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage as required

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP per AHA; must have taken a fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months and be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start
- EPIC experience is highly preferred
- Ability to float to medical-surgical units and care for pediatric patients; willingness to work nights and participate in rotating on-call and weekend coverage
- Orientation: virtual orientation scheduled for Monday prior to start
