Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Indian River Estates, US-FL-Vero Beach. Position Type: Per Diem. Location: 2250 Indian Creek Boulevard West, Vero Beach, FL. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for providing treatment services to residents and assisting the Physical Therapist in treatment and program development. Performs physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been delegated by the Physical Therapist, in accordance with the plan of treatment. Support opportunities for professional growth within the organization. Engage in on-site program activities and collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centered care. Requirements Completion of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant training program. Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered. Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred).
