Road Service Tire Technician

Employee Assistant Program FSA and HSA Plans Life Insurance Opportunities for Advancement Paid Training Employee Referral Program Employee DiscountLocation: Bergey's Commercial Tire, Reading PA Pay: $19 to $22 / hour based on experience $2,500.00 Sign-On Bonus based on qualificationsEssential Duties:Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack, use air tools and heavy hand-held toolsMount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair commercial truck tiresWill be put into rotation for After Hours Road Service CallsRepair or replace tires on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucksChange truck tires on the roadside, customer yard or shopAbility to recognize repairable tires and properly perform repairCommunicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders and/or invoicesPerform all tasks in a safe and efficient mannerUse all provided safety equipment including seat belts, gloves, jack stands, wheel chocks, safety glasses, and cagesMaintain safe driving recordOperate commercial service truckPerform daily maintenance to vehicle, tools and equipmentMaintain professional relationship with customersOther tasks as assigned.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Must possess or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical CardMust be or willing to get TIA certified (training will be provided)Valid Driver's LicenseSuccessful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screeningBergey's is an equal opportunity employer
