Android Developer

We're growing the technology group at Airbnb and need a mid-level Android Developer who treats reliability as a feature, not an afterthought. Picture this: a temporary Android Developer seat in Phoenix, paying $76,000 - $114,000, where 4 years of doing the work earns you real say over how it gets done. Key Responsibilities Coordinate releases with stakeholders across Phoenix, AZ and remote teams Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production Own the full lifecycle of technology systems from prototype to production Ship the Rust trust-based rewrite that pays down years of Airbnb technical debt Translate technology compliance rules into Kubernetes guardrails baked into the build What You'll Bring Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team The composure to deliver bad news early and clearly 3+ years building trust the slow, unglamorous way Reliable, accountable, and committed to following through Ability to learn new technology systems quickly and apply them effectively A communicator who can disagree without making it personal The judgment to distinguish a fire drill from an actual fire Quietly, from Phoenix, Airbnb has become the nimble technology partner that AZ's most demanding teams refuse to replace. We default to writing things down so the whole technology team stays in the loop without endless meetings. At Airbnb, $76,000 - $114,000 is just the opener; the mentorship, benefits, and Phoenix, AZ flexibility are where the offer gets good. Candidate outreach for this technology opening is happening as we speak. Pair your Kubernetes with our Rust-heavy team and watch what Airbnb can build. #J-18808-Ljbffr Airbnb
