Assistant Machine Operator - Expertfold Specialty Folder Gluer - 1st Shift Posted on June 12, 2026 Location: Great Lakes, Great Lakes Division, Holy Hill Rd, N128 W21600, Richfield, WI 53076, USA On-site Production Operations Full Time Requisition #: MACHI002781 Responsibilities Assist in accurate and efficient set‑up of all folding and gluing operations of the Expertfold Specialty Folder Gluer machine in accordance with proper setup techniques. Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue. Properly operate the machine to run efficiently and produce quality products. Ensure diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary. Maximize equipment utilization by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed. Assist in training all job positions. Learn to run a variety of box styles. Check quality of boxes during the run, identifying mis‑slotted boxes, loose liners, misprints, and other defects. Complete necessary reports accurately and in a timely manner, including production data, machine operational status, safety data, and quality data. Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs and be proactive in equipment maintenance. Adhere to the production schedule, making recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals, and reporting any unusual scheduling issues to the supervisor. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Perform additional duties assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One year of relevant experience preferred. Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred. Experience in the Press and Finishing Department (at least six months) preferred. Pay is based on experience.
