Pump Repair TechnicianKurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) is seeking a Pump Repair Technician to join our Manufacturing / Repair & Manufacturing team in Glassport, PA. This is a hands-on, onsite role focused on evaluating, repairing, rebuilding, and testing mechanical vacuum pumps and industrial equipment. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, working with tools and machinery, and supporting high-quality repair services in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.Job Details:Type of Employment: Full-timeLocation: Glassport, PADivision/Department: Manufacturing / Repair & ManufacturingReports to: Operations ManagerShift: 1st (Mon-Friday)Key Responsibilities:Evaluate, repair, rebuild, and test mechanical vacuum pumps and related industrial devicesTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including motors, sensors, and wiringPerform preventive maintenance and scheduled equipment servicingFollow work instructions and document repairs using an ERP systemRead and interpret part numbers, schematics, and measuring toolsOperate machinery and hand tools safely and effectivelyMaintain safety standards and comply with company policiesSafely operate a forklift (certification required or obtainable)Participate in continuous improvement through the 6S ProgramCollaborate across departments to support service center operationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to read and follow product schematics and election part descriptionsIntermediate technical knowledge and mechanical aptitudeHigh School Diploma or equivalentAble to obtain a forklift certification and safely operate the forkliftProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applicationsAbility to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs unassistedFluent in English (reading and writing)Two or more years of technical troubleshooting or repair experienceExperience with industrial equipment, rotating machinery, pumps, or manufacturing repair environmentsWhy Kurt J.
