Job Summary
The Security Service Center Specialist plays a pivotal operational and customer-facing role in maintaining a secure, efficient, and service-oriented environment. Operating within a fast-paced 24/7 Security Service Center, this position provides critical frontline security support to employees, contractors, and visitors. Key duties range from daily credential management and badging to Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) device enrollment, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) assistance, and facility security audits—including specialized device and tool tracking inside and outside the Fab environment.
Job Description
- Access & Badge Administration: Issue, troubleshooting, inspect, and audit employee and contractor security badges; assist with general Access Control System operations.
- Fab Security & Tool Auditing: Issue, track, inspect, and audit security devices, seals, and specialized tools operating inside and outside the Fab environment.
- Media & Threat Protection: Scan CDs, USB drives, and other portable media using the Virus Protection System (VPS) to protect facility infrastructure.
- Enterprise Mobility & MFA Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot EMM software on mobile devices; assist personnel with MFA setup.
- Facility & Parking Logistics: Issue, track, and maintain logs for parking decals, placards, and temporary passes.
- Security Operations & Training: Assist in maintaining the Security Index and help coordinate semi-annual contractor security training sessions
Skills Required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in facility security, badge coordination, access monitoring, or administrative security support.
- Core Competencies: Proficient in credential management systems, physical access control, EMM platforms, MFA setup, and VPS external media scanning. Strong customer service and communication skills are also required.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Requirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Shift (Day): Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
