Semiconductor Devices & Microelectronics Engineer for AI Training

Provide deep technical evaluation and clear explanations of semiconductor device physics, microfabrication, process integration, device scaling, performance modeling, and reliability to produce high-quality training data and feedback for next-generation AI systems. This contractor role is remote, and domain expertise in semiconductors and microelectronics is the primary requirement; previous AI experience is not required.

• Analyze and explain semiconductor device physics, operational principles, and recent technical advances.
• Evaluate microfabrication techniques, including process integration and approaches to yield optimization.
• Provide technical assessments on device scaling, performance modeling, and reliability methodologies.
• Review and critique materials used in electronic and semiconducting device fabrication.
• Create detailed written explanations and deliver verbal clarifications of complex engineering concepts for model training purposes.
• Deliver structured feedback on project data to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators and other domain experts on the platform.

• Advanced degree preferred, such as a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor device design, fabrication processes, and microelectronics engineering.
• Proven understanding of semiconductor physics, device modeling, and reliability testing.
• Hands-on exposure to modern microfabrication and process integration techniques.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to deconstruct complex topics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clearly articulating technical concepts.
• Prior contributions to technical publications, patents, or collaborative R and D projects are a plus.
