Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). The ideal candidate will have strong cardiovascular surgical experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical instruments
• Scrub for complex CVOR procedures
• Assist surgical teams during procedures, including cases requiring bypass
• Maintain strict sterile technique and follow hospital safety protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR/CV Scrub experience preferred/required
• CST certification through NBSTSA required
• BLS certification required
• Must have strong cardiovascular OR experience
• Must be able to scrub cardiovascular procedures and go on bypass
