Opening for OBGYN Physician in Alpena, MichiganFull Time Permanent PositionSeeking BC/BE OBGYN Physician to join team in Alpena, MichiganOverview:Current group consists of four physicians and one office based nurse practitionerThe team of physicians has a blended model where two focus on gynecologic care in the outpatient setting while still providing support to the labor and delivery unit and two are traditional OB/GYNThe call expectation of this role will be on average 1:3Brand new inpatient tower in that has a family focused maternity centerThe outpatient clinic is on the hospital campus and is staffed with a dedicated supervisor and experienced clinical and clerical teamThis established team is very well respected in the area with a solid referral base from employed, partner, and independent primary care providers in the communityThis supportive team welcomes experienced physicians as well as new graduates for this openingIn addition to the home clinic on campus in Alpena, the group has 4 integrated outreach clinics in Rogers City, Atlanta, Lincoln, and OscodaOnce established, this position would host clinic at 1 or more outreach site 2-3 days per pay period.Facility Details:Serving Gratiot, Isabella, Montcalm, and other counties since licensed beds, all private rooms1000+ employees, volunteers, healthcare providers, and other personnel (68 percent of employees from central Michigan - Gratiot, Isabella, and Clare Counties)Teaching facility with a family medicine residency training program, medical student clinical rotations, nursing student rotations, and state-of-the-art Simulation CenterAccredited by The Joint CommissionAffiliated with Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan Health System)New Cardiac Cath Lab, Maternity Center, and MRI rooms )Compensation:Offering a Highly Competitive Compensation Plan with a variable component based on WRVUsFull Benefit Package including:Relocation AllowanceVacationCME $ and Days403(b) and 457(b) PlansLife, Health, Dental, and VisionLong Term, Short Term DisabilityProfessional Liability Coverage w/Tail
