Location: Naval Branch Health Clinic, Jacksonville, FL Employer: U.S. Got People (USGP) Position Summary: U.S. Got People (USGP) is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide high-quality healthcare services to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families at Naval Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville. Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate: $62.00/hour + Health and Welfare Stipend Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0630 to 1600 Benefits Include: Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off and Sick Leave Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in any U.S. state or territory Certifications Required: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required for Emergency Medicine practice Experience: Minimum of one year of full-time experience within the past three years in an occupational medicine or similar clinical setting Immunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain) Hepatitis B (series and titer) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) TB (Tuberculosis) test COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable) Key Responsibilities May Include Deliver a full scope of Physician Assistant services in primary and specialty care, including acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all organ systems; perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications within scope Provide medical care for acute and chronic conditions, minor trauma, and recognize emergent conditions requiring immediate intervention or referral Promote wellness and preventive care through patient education, health screenings, immunizations, and counseling Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care Participate in continuing medical education, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with Military Treatment Facility standards and electronic health records Stay informed about the MTF formulary and prescribe medications in accordance with approved protocols Equal Opportunity Employer USGP is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
