Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client in Buffalo Grove, IL. This full-time direct hire opportunity is fully onsite. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support, ensuring optimal efficiency of operating systems, generating product drawings and project documentation, and performing capacity analysis. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience and the ability to do hands‑on work in the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Create product drawings and project documentation Partner with manufacturing and maintenance team to ensure optimal efficiency of operating systems Identify improvements to production layouts, methods and processes Assist with project management for factory automation projects and changes to processes Perform capacity analysis Assist in the development of new products Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering At least 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience Ability to do hands‑on work in the manufacturing facility Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with 2D/3D CAD Software Strong organizational and computer skills Excellent problem‑solving skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material, and component selection Benefits include Medical, Dental and Vision coverage; 3 weeks PTO & Paid sick leave; 401(k); HSA and FSA; Life Insurance; STD and LTD.
