Key Responsibilities

The person in this role will be expected to engage in the following activities:

• Fulfill all training requirements, including:
• General Manager Development Program and Operations Excellence Capstone Course
• Food Safety and Manager Certifications
• Any additional training mandated by the organization
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences at the restaurant
• Maintain optimal staffing levels through sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top talent
• Provide team members with comprehensive training, ongoing mentorship, and coaching while holding them accountable for their performance
• Create effective work schedules in a timely manner to drive sales and manage labor costs
• Plan and assign shift responsibilities, clearly communicating expectations and making adjustments as necessary
• Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently
• Foster a positive culture and strong team morale by leading by example and providing guidance
• Drive profitability through sales growth, cost control, team development, and adherence to operational standards
• Enhance sales by building community relationships and delivering outstanding products and services
• Manage costs and losses while striving for continuous improvement by adhering to operational standards and compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies
• Conduct performance evaluations for crew members and assist in evaluations for managers
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, guidelines, and policies
• Utilize management tools and maintain accurate and organized records
• Review daily performance metrics and develop action plans to improve systems and processes for better profitability and guest satisfaction
• Address guest and team member complaints or concerns promptly and respectfully
• Maintain a flexible attitude that allows for performance beyond the outlined responsibilities
• Ensure team safety by adhering to all safety protocols
• Escalate issues to your supervisor when necessary
• Perform any other duties essential for the smooth operation of the restaurant

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Availability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle report
• Demonstrated leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a cooperative attitude
• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• 3-5 years of management experience required
• Experience in restaurant management is preferred

Physical Requirements
