Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Special Education K-12 221 license required (mild/moderate or moderate/severe credential accepted)
• Experience working in self-contained classrooms or with diverse learner populations preferred
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Passion for serving students with a range of learning and behavioral needs
• Ability to effectively collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs and learning plans
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that address academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Track and assess student progress, maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborate with IEP teams to adapt curriculum and design appropriate supports
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievement and growth
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings onsite, supporting a culture of continuous learning
