Registered Nurse Circulator - Operating Room

Location: Beckley, WV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:30-15:00 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Call Requirements: 1 night/week, 1 weekend/month. Potential for coverage/call.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse Circulator will provide care within the Operating Room across various surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and support during procedures. This role includes working in an environment with diverse patient populations, from geriatrics to pediatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room for specialties including General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and davinci robotic surgeries.
• Ensure all necessary patient care equipment is available and functioning.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN licensure in West Virginia.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR circulating.
