Immediate opening for a  General Labor position in  Redlands, CA who possesses:

• Experience safely operating warehouse equipment, including sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
• Ability to frequently lift 20 to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Warehouse experience with picking, packing, shrink wrapping, and daily distribution tasks

FULL DESCRIPTION:   We are seeking a General Labor associate to support warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced automotive parts distribution environment. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for receiving and putting away products, picking orders, palletizing, preparing shipments, operating warehouse equipment, performing cycle counts, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse. The ideal candidate will have warehouse equipment experience, strong attention to safety, the ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds frequently, and the ability to complete daily warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Receiving and putting away incoming products
• Picking orders accurately
• Manually lifting and transporting products weighing 20 to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Reviewing and palletizing orders for shipment
• Preparing shipping labels and box labels
• Weighing and wrapping outgoing shipments
• Shrink wrapping products and pallets as needed
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse areas
• Performing cycle counts
• Unloading inbound shipments safely and efficiently
• Loading outbound shipments safely and efficiently
• Maintaining equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies
• Operating sit-down forklifts
• Operating electric pallet jacks
• Operating cherry pickers
• Supporting turret truck operation as trained or needed
• Following all safety rules and warehouse procedures
• Supporting daily distribution tasks and warehouse workflow
• Communicating professionally with team members and supervisors
• Performing other duties as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Warehouse experience required
• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Electric pallet jack experience required
• Cherry picker experience required
• Turret truck experience preferred
• Picking and packing experience preferred
• Shrink wrapping experience preferred
• Shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, palletizing, or distribution experience preferred
• Ability to understand the flow of a warehouse and complete daily distribution tasks accurately
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Ability to speak, read, and communicate in English
• Strong attention to safety
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and team-oriented work habits
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, clean, professional warehouse environment
• Ability to work onsite in Redlands, CA
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move products weighing 20 to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch, push, pull, lift, carry, and move throughout warehouse and distribution areas as needed
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and related equipment as needed
• Ability to work at heights when operating cherry picker equipment
• Ability to use hands and fingers for picking, packing, labeling, scanning, wrapping, equipment operation, cycle counts, and standard warehouse duties
• Ability to review labels, order details, shipment information, inventory records, and warehouse documentation as needed
• Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks while maintaining accuracy and safety
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety footwear, as required
• Ability to avoid clothing, jewelry, or accessories that may create a safety hazard around warehouse equipment

Salary Range: $18.50/hour
