Culinary Supervisor (Full Time) - Fast casuals - World Equestrian Center Job Category : Food & Beverage – Culinary Requisition Number : CULIN002189 Full-Time Locations Ocala, FL 34482, USA Description Job Summary: The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Culinary Supervisor to support the daily kitchen operations at Ralph’s, our vibrant fast-casual Burger & Sandwich dining outlet. This role is ideal for a working culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values consistency, and enjoys leading by example. As Culinary Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining food quality, safety, and service flow while supporting the Sr. Multi-Unit Outlet Chef & Multi-Unit Outlet Chef in overseeing a small, efficient kitchen team. This is a hands‑on leadership position that blends culinary execution with team coordination, ideal for individuals seeking a stable, growth-oriented opportunity in a dynamic kitchen setting. Primary Responsibilities: Lead daily food preparation and service, ensuring consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation. Supervise and support kitchen staff during shifts, maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow. Train team members on proper food handling, equipment use, and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Assist with scheduling and shift coverage to ensure appropriate staffing levels and operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order execution. Support the execution of seasonal menu items, specials, and promotional offerings. Foster a positive kitchen culture built on teamwork, accountability, and pride in product. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods in a high-energy kitchen environment. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high-volume setting. Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Minimum of 3–5 years of culinary experience in a high-volume or fast-casual kitchen environment. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a hands‑on setting. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations. Excellent communication and organizational skills. ServSafe Certification preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
