Position Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Home Care
Pay: Starting at $31.00 per hour
Location: Marysville, OH
Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
BrightStar Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a long-term adult client in Marysville, OH. This position offers consistent scheduled shifts and clinical support in a home care setting.
Client Information
- Adult client with quadriplegia
- Tracheostomy and ventilator support
- Uses power wheelchair, hospital bed, and Hoyer lift
- Oral medication administration
- Pet present in the home
Job Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Assist with transfers using appropriate equipment
- Support activities of daily living as needed
- Monitor, document, and report patient status
- Maintain a safe and organized care environment
- Communicate with family members and clinical team
Qualifications
- Active Ohio LPN license in good standing
- Trach and ventilator experience preferred; training available
- Current CPR certification
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Dependable and professional work ethic
