About the Position

Job Title

Occupational Therapist – Acute Care

Location

Portland, OR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:00) | Weekends Required (approximately 4 per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Float between units as needed to support patient care across the facility
• Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based occupational therapy practices
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Occupational Therapist license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute care hospital experience (hard stop requirement)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to commit to a block schedule
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify at standard travel rates
• Clean background with no Nursys or background check hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between multiple units or sister facilities within a health system
• Familiarity with travel contract compliance requirements and scheduling flexibility
