In this dynamic role, you will support our veterinarians in providing exceptional care to pets while fostering a compassionate environment for both animals and owners. Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care. Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing surgical instruments. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including animal housing and treatment areas. Communicate effectively with pet owners about treatment plans and post-care instructions. Monitor and record patient progress and any changes in behavior or health. Help with the intake and discharge process of patients, ensuring a positive experience for pet owners. Provide compassionate care and comfort to animals during their visits. Requirements: Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is a plus, but not a requirement. Strong communication skills and a passion for animal welfare. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Physical ability to lift and restrain animals as necessary. Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures. Compassionate demeanor and a team-oriented attitude. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
