Restoration Technician

Location: Tampa Bay Area (Travel Required)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Saturday (Hours Vary Based on Job Availability)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to join their emergency response team. This position is ideal for someone who has previous restoration experience and can respond quickly when jobs become available. Since restoration work is driven by emergencies, schedules can change with little notice, and technicians must be available to report to job sites throughout the Tampa Bay area as needed. Rytech specializes in water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke cleanup, and other emergency restoration services.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to residential and commercial restoration projects.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, drying, and cleanup.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers.
• Remove damaged materials including drywall, flooring, insulation, and cabinetry.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Document work performed and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance on every job site.
• Travel to job sites throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Requirements

• Previous restoration experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Must be able to report to jobs on short notice and be available for an on-call style schedule .
• Ability to work Monday through Saturday, with varying hours based on emergency job needs.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and flexibility.
• Ability to pass any required pre-employment screening.

Schedule

This is not a traditional set schedule . Restoration work is based on emergency service calls, so technicians must be flexible and available to report when jobs are assigned. Work may occur any day Monday through Saturday , with start times and hours varying depending on customer needs.

Pay

• $18.00 per hour
• Opportunity for consistent work based on project volume and availability.
