Baptist Health is hiring a Phone Triage Registered Nurse at Baptist Internal Medicine Group on Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is phone triage. They will support 10 providers and this is a busy, fast-paced office. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and comfortable interacting with patients face to face. Phone Triage Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:
Triage telephone calls
Interpret symptoms and communicating plan of care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans
Manage prior authorizations for medications
Coordinate workflow pertaining to clinical questions
Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs
Room/triage patients for providers
Reviewing the clinical messages that come through the portal and responding to them
Using strong communication and documentation skills Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Licensed Registered Nurse Required Experience Requirements:
