About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Manufacturing to spearhead its industrial sales strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing a high-performing sales organization. This role demands a leader who can set and execute sales strategies in line with corporate goals, lead the sales cycle for major opportunities, and ensure that sales processes are optimized for maximum impact. Key outcomes for the first 12-18 months include achieving aggressive sales targets, expanding relationships with strategic accounts, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), at least 12 years of B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in executive sales leadership, and a proven track record in selling complex technology or network solutions to industrial sectors. The role requires expertise in long-cycle enterprise sales, government contracting, and proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools. Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. Experience in manufacturing is a must, and familiarity with industrial IoT and related technologies, as well as experience in private network sales, is a plus. The position is remote, with travel for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.
