Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Kutztown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as College Campuses, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy college campus where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post, and you will use teamwork, integrity, and reliability while assisting with daily site activities and reporting concerns with agility and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an industrial and campus-like environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying entry authorization in accordance with site protocols and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support incident response and daily operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and/or first responders while following assigned post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
