Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems. Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission‑critical applications and infrastructure services. Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks. Maintain operational baselines. Support database administrators. Requirements BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience. Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments. Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have. Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience managing both virtual and physical servers. Experience performing system monitoring. Experience with backup management. Experience implementing performance optimizations. Currently valid DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification. Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in system administration with a focus on Linux and UNIX environments, alongside experience in managing both virtual and physical servers.
