Role Description This full-time, on-site Certified Medical Assistant role is based in Fort Worth, TX. The Certified Medical Assistant will support clinical operations by preparing patients for procedures, obtaining vital signs, updating medical histories, and assisting the surgeon and clinical team during exams and minor procedures. Daily responsibilities include managing patient flow, coordinating appointments, maintaining medical records, insurance verifications and preauthorizations of procedures and ensuring exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for use. The role also involves patient education, answering questions about pre- and post-procedure instructions, and communicating clearly with patients, families, and colleagues. The Certified Medical Assistant will follow all safety, privacy, and infection control protocols and contribute to a welcoming, professional environment. Qualifications Strong clinical support skills including Medical Assisting and Patient Care in an ambulatory or surgical setting. Proficiency in Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with providers and accurately document patient information. Experience in a Medical Office environment, including scheduling, patient intake, and coordination of clinical workflows. Ability to manage and update Medical Records accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA. Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) and BLS/CPR certification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered, empathetic approach. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior experience in plastic surgery, insurance verification and surgery preauthorization, dermatology, or a related specialty is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
