The Role Perform comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups, and client education. Conduct diagnostic procedures utilizing in-house laboratory testing and digital radiography. Perform routine and elective surgeries and dental procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols. Prescribe and manage medications through the on-site pharmacy. Collaborate closely with the hospital team to promote efficiency and high standards of care. Participate in case monitoring and, when applicable, daily rounds. Contribute to ongoing protocol evaluation and practice improvements. Requirements DVM or VMD from an accredited institution. Current license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Oregon. DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain). Eligibility to work in the United States. At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice. Strong clinical, surgical, and dental skills with excellent communication and teamwork. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties that may require bending, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.
