Surgical Technician - Multiple Levels (Full-Time or Per-Diem)

Position Overview:

Hiring for Full-Time or Per-Diem positions.
Schedule will be discussed during the interview.
Hiring levels include Surgical Tech, Senior Surgical Tech, and Lead Surgical Tech.

What You Will Do:

Prepare surgical cases under the guidance of a registered nurse.
llocate surgical supplies and instrumentation.
Organize and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
Pass sutures and instruments to the surgeon as needed.
ssist with terminal cleaning of the surgical suite and instrumentation.
pply advanced skills to support optimal patient care and perioperative performance.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program.
Completion of competencies for all General Service Lines and at least 50% of Advanced Service Lines.
Environmental Orientation within 30 days of hire.
Unit-specific competency within 90 days of hire.
Certified Surgical Technologist through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association upon hire.

Experience by Level:

Surgical Tech: At least 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
Senior Surgical Tech: At least 3 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
Lead Surgical Tech: At least 5 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
