Firm Strategist

Our client is a Boutique CPA Firm located in Colorado Springs, CO with over $11.7M in revenue actively seeking a 100% Remote Firm Strategist to join their team.

This firm emphasizes an Exceptional Work-Life Balance with limited regular and busy season hours, no weekends, and Summer Fridays completely off. There is a strong focus on quality of life within its culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee business operations within a CPA firm or professional services environment.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, improve workflows, and drive organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to align strategy with organizational goals and client service delivery.

Qualifications

Applicants Must Have

• Proven experience in strategic leadership and business operations, ideally within a CPA firm or professional services environment.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing structures, and business development strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, improve workflows, and drive organizational efficiency.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills, with the ability to impact all levels of the firm.
• Proficiency with practice management and business systems typical to the accounting industry.
• High level of confidentiality, adaptability, and problem-solving skills when working closely with leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with talent development and recruitment processes, including succession planning and culture building.
• Familiarity with marketing and brand strategy, ensuring consistency across digital and client-facing platforms.
• Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and legal coordination in a professional services (preferably CPA) firm.

Compensation

$120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience.
