Direct Counsel is partnering with an AmLaw 10 law firm to identify talented Corporate M&A / Private Equity Associates to join its Corporate practice in Los Angeles .
This is an exceptional opportunity for attorneys seeking to work on high-profile mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions within one of the most elite corporate practices in the country. The team advises leading private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and major corporations on sophisticated transactions across a wide range of industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions
Assist with deal structuring, due diligence, and transaction execution
Draft and negotiate transaction agreements and related corporate documents
Manage key aspects of deal processes and transaction timelines
Work collaboratively with partners and clients on complex corporate matters
Experience handling corporate transactions , particularly M&A and/or private equity deals
Strong understanding of corporate law and transactional deal management
Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
Outstanding academic credentials
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to obtain admission
