The Freight Quality Inspector plays a direct role in strengthening accuracy across the network, reducing rework, and providing actionable feedback to operations, sales, and terminal leadership. Success in this role means driving measurable improvements in shipment accuracy, minimizing revenue leakage, and elevating the consistency of freight handling across the facility.# **What you’ll do**## ## **1. Execute shipment inspection and revenue capture*** Inspect inbound and outbound shipments to identify reweigh, reclass, and revenue recovery opportunities* Accurately enter shipment changes based on physical inspections and dimensioning systems* Ensure proper freight classification, density calculations, and tariff application* Maintain strict adherence to inspection standards to protect revenue integrity## ## **2. Elevate operational quality and consistency*** Conduct quality inspections on loaded freight to ensure secure, compliant, and damage-free movement* Partner with dock operations to improve load quality and reduce service failures* Identify recurring issues and drive corrective actions with terminal teams* Participate in daily pre-shift and service center meetings to reinforce expectations## ## **3. Maintain equipment and facility standards*** Inspect weights & inspections equipment, dock tools, and overall facility conditions* Escalate maintenance or safety concerns proactively to minimize downtime and risk* Ensure all inspection tools are calibrated, functional, and used correctly* Support a safe, organized, and performance-driven work environment## ## **4. Enable cross-functional alignment*** Collaborate with terminal leadership and sales teams to provide feedback on customer accounts and freight patterns* Communicate inspection findings clearly to influence operational and commercial decisions* Build strong working relationships across operations, safety, and revenue management teams## ## **5.
