Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active SLPA license in the state of Texas
• Completion of an accredited SLPA program with required coursework and practicum
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to implement treatment plans under supervisor guidance
• Organized, dependable, and professional with a passion for helping children

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students under SLP supervision
• Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation tasks
• Follow prepared lesson plans and track student progress toward individualized goals
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet students’ developmental needs
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and support staff
