Position Purpose Build and lead a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensure a healthy pipeline of clients, and deliver an exceptional fitness experience. Responsibilities Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Personal Trainers. Manage payroll for personal trainers, ensuring timely and accurate payment. Lead the team and drive sales initiatives, especially during weekends or when the General Manager is absent. Achieve month‑over‑month sales targets, grow membership, and exceed goals for new PT agreements, client retention, and revenue. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff. Ensure all fitness staff maintain certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and personal trainer credentials. Provide constructive feedback to personal trainers on performance. Maintain high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns and resolving issues promptly. Conduct personalized welcome workouts for new members to evaluate fitness needs and goals. Guide members through the initial club experience to promote PT sales, retention, and engagement. Supervise facility maintenance, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement safety protocols. Qualifications 2 years of management experience; fitness/personal training management is a plus. 2–3 years of customer service experience. 1 year of sales experience. 1 year of supervisory experience. Personal Training sales experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills at all levels. Strong detail orientation and systematic problem solving. Excellent MS Office skills. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus. Embrace our Core Values. Requirements Must be available to work nights and weekends. Must successfully pass a background check. Must have a valid Personal Training certification. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work in a gym setting; move throughout club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to bend routinely and repeatedly to lift more than 40 lbs. Ability to access and operate the Company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports.
