Job Description Join our team as a CVICU Registered Nurse in a fast‑paced intensive care environment specializing in complex cardiovascular and surgical cases. This 13‑week contract offers an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a skilled team managing trauma, CV surgery, neurosurgery patients, and other critical cases. Your role will focus on interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, arterial line management, and administering blood products, often supporting patients recovering from open‑heart surgery, TAVRs, or experiencing severe sepsis. Be prepared for 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:2‑3, depending on acuity. This position accepts first‑time travelers, offers weekend work every other week, and requires a VA or Compact license, ACLS, NIH, and at least two years of ICU experience.
