Litigation Brief Writer - Senior Associate/Counsel

Overview Duane Morris LLP seeks to add a full-time senior associate or counsel dedicated to brief writing for its growing products/mass tort practice based in its North Jersey office. Responsibilities Candidate will apply appropriate legal authority that supports the facts and circumstances of each case to prepare substantive briefs and motions, including: complex dispositive motions opposition motions motions for summary judgment motions to compel arbitration appeals mediation statements They must formulate and execute briefing strategy and keep abreast of products/mass tort laws in multiple jurisdictions. Qualifications At least 5+ years of experience in sophisticated legal research and writing, preferably in products/mass tort matters. Detail-oriented with strong research, organizational and writing skills. Ability to keep abreast of products/mass tort laws in multiple jurisdictions. Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and results-oriented outcomes. NJ Bar admission and/or NY/NJ admission. Writing sample required. Big law experience preferred. Compensation and Benefits Target annual pay range for this role is $275,000+. Actual pay will vary depending upon relevant experience, skill-set, current business needs and market factors.
