Physical Therapist AssistantThe Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will utilize evidence-based practice to provide skilled rehabilitative treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, assess patient progress, and effectively communicate with the healthcare team.ResponsibilitiesProvide rehabilitative treatment interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.Administer procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.Assess patient progress and document treatment outcomes in clinical records.Consult with patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.Participate in patient care conferences and meetings.Document regulatory and clinical required information in the electronic documentation system.Supervise students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.ScheduleThis is a full-time position with flexible 8-hour days, Monday through Friday.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience required.Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation preferred.Active PTA license required.New graduates considered with Level II experience.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
